At Two Travelling Planners, we personally know what it is like to have family members affected by Breast Cancer, and we look forward to the day when people like our mothers are no longer affected by such a horrible disease.
While we love to travel and explore the Mornington Peninsula, eat good food and wine, we also feel it is important to support Breast Cancer research, and as such we participate in events such as the Mother’s Day Classic annually and plan to complete the Carman’s Fun Run in December this year (let us know if you’d like to join our fundraising team for these events).
2019 Mother’s Day Classic
Unfortunately in January this year, we lost one of our biggest supporters, Bree’s mum Meredith to breast cancer. This year we will be completing the Mother’s Day Classic at Balnarring in her memory, and we would love to see you joining our team, or supporting our fundraising efforts.
We also hold our own fundraising events right here on the Mornington Peninsula – with plans for a Pink High Tea and an Oakes Day Luncheon in the works for 2019.
Our 2018 event was held at Barmah Park Vineyard in Moorooduc, and was a great success, raising over $900 in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
We couldn’t have done it without the support of some very generous supporters, who we cannot thank enough:
- Barmah Park Vineyard and Cellar Door
- Flower Press and Co
- 3 Girls Boutique
- RawGanic Delights
- Signed Sealed Delivered Gifts
- Candle Empire
- Arthur’s Seat Eagle
- Puffing Billy Railway
- SUP-Fit Pty Ltd
- For Fudge Sake
